Product Description
Alumina bubble series, a new kind of high temperature refractory material, is produced by melting and blowing industrial alumina in electrode furnace. Its crystal type is microcrystal of a-Al2O3. With alumina bubble as the main body, it can be produced with different shapes.
Application
Alumina bubble series can be applied to high-temperature energy conservation (>30%) down draught furnace, shuttle furnace, molybdenum furnace, tungsten rod furnace, induction furnace, nitriding furnace, etc. Furthermore, the series is able to achieve obvious effects on reducing the weight of furnace, improving structure and saving materials as well as energy. In addition, it can be also used in the lining of industrial furnaces.
Characteristics
The highest working temperature of the series is 1800ºC. It owns high mechanical strength which can be several times normal light products. And its bulk density is only half of that of corundum products.
5.1 High working temperature:
Long-term working temperature is higher than 1750ºC. Its thermal shock resistance is good; Linear change on reheating is relatively low and the life cycle can be much longer.
5.2 Optimizing structure, reducing furnace weight:
So far, high temperature resisting materials adopted belongs to heavy-weight products with bulk density of 2.6-3.0g/cm. However, the bulk density of alumina bubble products is only 1.2~1.5g/cm. In other words, with the same bulk of one cubic meter, it is able to reduce 1.1-1.9 tons of weight by using alumina bubble products.
5.3 Saving materials:
With achieving to the same working temperature, the prices of adopting heavy-weight products is closely the same to that of adopting alumina bubble products, and it is also requested to use considerable insulation layer refractory materials. If adopting alumina bubble series, it will save 1.1-1.9 tons of weight in every cubic meter and also enormously save 80% of refractory insulation materials.
5.4 Energy conservation:
With an obvious ability of thermal insulation and low thermal conductivity, alumina bubble series is capable of providing excellent thermal insulation effect, reducing heat emission and improving thermal efficiency to achieve the goal of energy conservation.
