Nano board, a new type of insulation material, has been researched and developed on the basis of nanopore principle. The production includes adding adhesives and mixing with its main components, which contains nanoscale titanium silicate and other inorganic powder, via a special process. The thermal conductivity of nano board is lower than that of static air. Nano board is a kind of high-temperature and solid insulation material with excellent thermal insulation performance and has been widely used in steel ladle, torpedo, tundish and step-by-step heating furnace.
The performance of nano microporous insulation material is 3 to 4 times that of traditional thermal insulation materials. With a high temperature resistance, the material is quite suitable for equipment thermal insulation in steel and metallurgical industries. In application process, nano board can apparently decrease thermal loss and significantly reduce surface temperature of equipment to improve product quality and production efficiency, reduce production costs and achieve the effect of energy conservation and emission reduction.
