Composition of magnesia refractory mortar
Magnesia refractory mortar is mainly made from magnesite clinker, dry magnesium sulfate adhesive and a small amount of additive. The product is packed in dry bulk and made by adding water when used.
Application
Due to a wide spread of magnesia refractory bricks and requirements of enlargement and innovation oriented on construction material industrial furnace, magnesia materials have been commonly used. Magnesia refractory mortar, which contains no less than 78% of magnesium, is mainly applied in masonry of magnesia bricks, magnesia alumina bricks and magnesia chrome bricks, and patching furnace side walls.
Particle composition:
For magnesia refractory mortar applied in patching furnace, the content of particle size which are less than 0.5mm should be no less than 90% and the content of particle size which are less than 0.125 mm should be no less than 50%; For magnesia refractory mortar applied in masonry, the content of particle size which are less than 0.5mm should be no less than 97% and the content of particle size which are less than 0.088mm should be no less than 50%.
Characteristics
The refractory mortar has high bonding strength at both regular and high temperatures, high bonding strength, high sintering strength and excellent construction performance. Its blending process is simple and easy to apply. It is suitable for basic brick masonry.
